ANOTHER WEEK IN THE MORRIS HOUSEHOLD

Tucker and Jeff spent the whole day outside playing football and cleaning out the garage.

And this is how I found Tucker minutes after coming inside. He was wiped out.And this was just too precious. Tucker asked to hold Carter and as soon as I put Carter in Tucker's arms, he started smiling.
And here is Carter on his "blankie" that our lifelong family friend Maureen made for Carter. It is so soft and perfect size for him to carry around when he starts walking.
Nothing new in the Morris household this week. We are just doing a little spring cleaning. Jeff cleaning the garage, and I had the dreaded task of cleaning windows. The boys are filling our days with laughter and love. The weather has been beautiful and we have been outside a lot.

SMILES AND SURPRISES

This has been a great week so far. The boys have been so happy and in good moods. No temper tantrums from Tucker and Carter is just a very happy baby. Carter is finally enjoying bathtime. He just lays there and smiles and coos. He loves getting his hair washed. He just hates getting lotioned up because he's too cold. But he only puts up a stink for a minute or two. He is still eating really good and is getting so big so fast. He has a Dr.s appointment on Friday, so I will see just how big he has gotten. I am truly blessed that I have 2 beautiful and happy boys.

I don't have anyone to watch Carter on the Mondays that I work, so yesterday, Jeff took a half day from work to come home and watch him. He is such a fantastic Daddy. He went grocery shopping, clothes shopping for Tucker, made pizza for dinner, and stuffed Carter's cloth diapers. As if that wasn't enough, after coming home from a very long night at work, sitting on the dining room table was a new pair of pants for me that he bought while he was out. Then I got into the shower, to find that he remembered that I like the scent Verbena, and he had gotten me some Lime Verbena Body Wash. And folks, it doesn't even end there. I forgot to mention in my last blog that he sent me beautiful flowers at work last week. I truly have the best husband, and the boys are so lucky to have the worlds best Daddy.

HAPPY BOY!!!!

Carter has given us the gift of his smile. He is a very happy baby who smiles at almost everyone now. He would only smile at me for about 2 weeks. But now he is grinning at everyone. He has started making the cutest little noises that just melt my heart. And I swear the other night when he was smiling, he let out a little laugh. Tucker and Carter are truly the lights of my life.

JUST HANGING OUT

Nothing new is going on in the Morris housefold, except for my return to work. It hard to go back and leave such a small baby at home, but after the first day it got easier. My boss and co-workers have made it easier for me by supporting me a ton. It was nice to see everyone again, but it is nice to pull in my driveway at the end of a long shift, knowing that my "boys" are waiting for me inside.

We had to make a family quilt square for Tucker's school project. It is Small Child Month. So they are concentrating on family at his school this month.

Carter was looking too cute that day not to snap a picture.

And as always, Tucker loves holding his little brother.

SOUTH KOREA MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!

Change of plan for this weeks blog entry. I was going to share with you my nursery and Tucker's new room pictures. However, our family has received wonderful news that I cannot wait to share with you all.

My SIL Amanda and my BIL Marc have received their referral for their new daughter from South Korea. She is the most beautiful little girl I have ever laid eyes on. Marc and Amanda have had a very long journey to become parents. And all of that time has finally paid off. This is my beautiful new neice....

Poppy Han-Yeong Marrano: Her middle name means "elegant flower"

Poppy was born on May 7, 2007 in South Korea. She weighed in at 5lbs 4oz. She was born on Marc and Amanda's wedding anniversary. She likes rice with tangerine squeezed in it and apple in her formula. She is coming home to us in 4 months. The whole family waits in suspense to meet our newest family member. We welcome her with open arms to America and our family.

STRONG MUSEUM OF PLAY OR BUST!

This past weekend we took a family trip to Rochester, NY to visit the Strong Museum of Play. We had a blast. Carter was wheeled around in his stroller or carried in his Snugli holder. Tucker ran like a wild man.

Tucker found a stage and some costumes, he was being a wizard.

This is the T-Man in a crooked house. He wouldn't let go of the wall.

There is a Kids Wegmans that the kids can grocery shop in and even ring up their own items.

The Skinny Juggling German Guy on stilts.

They also have a butterfly museum that you can walk through and see every kind of butterfly living.

Tucker enjoyed the fish pond when he wasn't ducking for cover from the butterflies.

In Carter news... we have embarked on the journey that is cloth diapers. They are BumGenius brand. They are super environmentally conscious, and saving us a ton of money over the years. Because they have sizing snaps they fit him from 8lbs to 36lbs. They are comfortable to Carter and quite possibly the cutest things I have ever seen. We are doing wonderful with them. Even Jeff likes them, or is it the whole saving money thing? Just kidding, Jeff likes them too. Check out how cute they are. Can you picture Carter wearing just those. How adorable!!!

Stay tuned next week;

Nursery pictures and Tucker's new bedroom pictures.
