STRONG MUSEUM OF PLAY

Today we went to Rochester to the Strong Museum of Play to meet up with one of my oldest and dearest friends for VA, Kristin. Kristin and her family are originally from Rochester and moved to VA in High School. She was up here visiting some friends this weekend and we decided to meet up at the Museum of Play to let the rugrats run around. It was so good to see her and her family.

This is Nana's birthday present for Carter. It's his first piece of luggage to travel to VA!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY CARTER!

Today is Carter's 1st Birthday. We celebrated his birthday on Sunday with a big family party. We had the best time. Carter was in a fantastic mood the entire time, and played with all of the kids. Here are some of the highlights from Sunday.

This was the first present Carter has ever opened.

Carter and MacKenzie poking each other like only babies know how.

Mommy and Carter opening presents together.

Happy Birthday Dear Carter, Happy Birthday To You!

Carter checking out what this cake-thing is all about.

I love this cake! Thanks Aunt Amanda for making for me!

Look at this face.

Melynda is enjoying the cupcakes.

I took this picture this morning on Carter's Birthday. He was in such a great mood and was willing to sit still for pictures. It might have something to do with the puffs.

Check out his crossed feet.

CARTER IS ON THE MOVE!

I wanted to get another post in before this weekend. Carter's birthday party is this Sunday, so be prepared for pictures galore in the next post.

Carter is "one-step" away from walking all over the house. (pun intended)

Last week Tucker went to his first hockey game. But first we stopped off at Aunt Amanda and Uncle Marc's house to have chinese with them. And Poppy has the coolest high chairs, so Tucker wanted to get in one. He loved it. He ate his whole meal in there. And the best part was that he was strapped in. He has a habit of hanging off the side of chairs, and keeping his butt in the seat.

"Tucker...I don't want a kiss today. I just want my noodles!"

Tucker is home from school today due to the weather. So we have been playing non-stop since 6:30 this morning. He built this block tower and was so proud of himself.

I Heart Faces Contest

DSC_1731_3

Another blog that I follow has entered into photo contests. So I decided to join in too. This week's theme is "The Eyes Have It". Although she is going to beat the socks off of everyone in the contest. Here is her link: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

I have to enter the contest through my blog, so many of you have already seen this picture of Carter in the fall. But I love his eyes in this picture.

Be sure to click on the button below to check out the I Heart Faces blogsite.

BOUNCE MAGIC

This past weekend we took the boys to Bounce Magic. Tucker loves it there and it was Carter's first trip. We had a blast!

Here is Tucker climbing into the scariest looking Spongebob Bounce House I have ever seen.

And Jeff taught Carter how to play basketball.

"So...how are you today? Are you having fun too?"

DSC_0365

This is a cute little face that Carter is starting to make. He is so funny these days!

DSC_0381

Carter laughed so hard at the pinging sound that the air-hockey table made. Whenever he would get a bit antsy, we would just take him over there and he would laugh hysterically.

DSC_0382

Tucker was so proud of himself for finishing the bounce house obstacle course.

We had so much fun, and we will probably have Tucker's Birthday Party there in March.

Next up...Carter's 1st Birthday.
